The only question that I have is about that VA 6V starter and how well it will serve your new needs. The mods to the block look great. Glad you found enough meat in the block for the top two bell housing bolts.

We did the same set up with the stock starter and pulled it for several years with no issue with the starter. The clutch was a different story, we had a 4 button clutch made and a pressure plate with heavier springs. After a couple years ended up twisting the shaft and breaking where it went thru the torque tube. The engine came from the combine into the tractor only changing the governor and reducing rpm to 20% over VAC stock rpm. This dyno'd at 56 hp if I remember right. Dave
