The change from "LO" range to "REV" works okay, but from the "N" position to the "HI" range position it just doesn't want to go. I know it did go in for me when I bought it (recent purchase), but all of the sudden it just seems to have decided not to. Anyone else had/having this problem, and if so what might be a field solution if there is one or any solution. This is an early '85 model with the "H" shift 4 speed pattern. The tractor sat outside most of its life before I got it and the shift "boots" are all but gone (got new ones to replace them) and I wonder could exposure to the elements froze something up on/in the shift mechanism? Any ideas will be appreciated. Thanks.
