The governor was worn out on my V Case as was the rest of the tractor. I bought a new one to put in the old case. Now when the throttle is opened it is as though there was no governor. We checked to see that the fork was in the right place in the governor. We found a fairly strong spring on the throttle compared to the governor on my Terratrac with the same motor. Should the V have a very weak spring or should it hang loose like the Terratrac until the throttle is opened up. Terratrac governor works good. The V doesn't. Suggestions?
