came with case 4-390. bad block. does anyone know if a perkins a4.203 will fit ? any other options or just get a cummins block.

call around for suppliers on the Cummins,,, a friend changed one out in a sky track,, easy change out and he found a warehouse near MI where he lives and got a real good deal I thought for a new engine

It could be done but it is a lot of work due to the bellhouseing being the rear engine mount and the front one bolts to front of engine mount.Did your skidsteer come from an auction in ohio?

just food for thought,,, if you put the other engine in and want to sell it it will not be worth near as much as it having the original engine installed,,, if I were at a auction and seen one with a swapped motor I would not even give 1/2 what is would be worth with the correct one just my thoughts
