Got to use my new toy today

Been working on the disc I got from Nutty out in Wyoming. It had a broken gang shaft and bearing support which I fixed yesterday. Got it together today and took it out and tried it out. Took a bit of learning to figure it out and get it adjusted, but then it worked ok. Still got some work to do on it yet, but it does work. Pretty decent load for the 2394 too. One of the few things on the farm that will actually make it work. The last pics are of the bearing support I had to fix and rhe broken gang shaft.Sorry, no field pics because I wrecked my phone. I hit it with welding spatter, phones don't like that I guess.

Good looking disc. With the notched blades should do a beautiful job once you get it set right. How's the 1030 project coming along? Maybe you have updated and missed it. Don't post much but check in daily to see what's going on. Really enjoy the funny's you post. Be safe on the road's. Scott
 
I put the 1030 on hold for several reasons, mostly lack of money. Plus my neighbor has one with a bad engine so I'm thinking about combining the 2, but haven't decided for sure yet.
