Exhaust manifold gasket?

Got new manifold for my DC, old one was broke and welded poorly, got new ferrules and gaskets to head, also got new elbow, is there supposed to be a gasket between elbow and manifold? Also are there gaskets for where the intake runs through the rear of the exhaust manifold, have a parts manual and can't seem to find any illustrated. This is a 1953 DC if it matter, thanks was hoping to get her installed this weekend

Elbow to manifold, no gasket. I lap the surfaces and then use a RED silcone designed for high temp. Has worked great over the
years. SC, DC, 400...............

Be sure and use brass nuts with plenty of anti-sieze

thanks for the tips, got new brass nuts and washers for install, just rtv on intake end of manifold or do I need to make cork gaskets
