I had a local dealer rebuild the steer motor (attached to steer wheel) and it has been awhile since I had a chance to put it on. I was in the process of overhauling the tractor, clutch, etc.
Well I got it going runs great, but steering wheel the first time would spin one way all the way and then after you steered it just a touch the same way it would go the other direction all the way. No stopping it.
I took it off and took it back, they did nothing but switch the to fitting from the pump. ONe is a restrictive fitting??? so put it back on and now it will steer about an inch on its own and then do nothing. I can not true the wheel at all but it does not jump all over either.
I was thinking of changing the lines, right now the bottom line feeds the pump, and the top is a return. If I switch the two lines coming out of it the tires turn opposite of the steering wheel.
ANY IDEAS? Is it in the pump or line? Did something not get put back on it like a valve or something???
