hi guys. I got a 48 vac that my son has started pulling in small antique classes. the tractor was 6v pos ground which I have switched to 12v neg ground. just wondering if there would be a electronic ign. kit for it. maybe same as farmall c or something. also wondering what I could do to the engine to gain some cid and hp. thanks in advance

Find yourself a 201 engine out of a Case 660 combine and bolt it into the VAC. There will be some issues around the starter, and sheet metal etc., plus switching out the Pierce belt driven gov, to the conventional gov. in the timeing gear housing. but it can be done.

thanks. but my distribtor doesnt match any of those id numbers. should one of those still work?

thanks for the input, but was thinking with just staying with the oe block. perhaps it can be bored and a bigger piston put in?
