Case-O-Matic 830 Comfort King Question

Howdy, I have an 830 Comfort King that I would like to plow snow with as a backup this winter. I have an old truck plow and would like to use the 3 point lift arms as the pivot point. Is there a way to lock these in the down position? I haven't tried this on this tractor yet but it is a real pain on my International where I have to put a second cross bar thru to catch under the tongue so the arms cannot lift and I was wondering if it was any easier on the Case.

Not sure what the heck you are talking about. Have you somehow jerry-riged a PU truck frame to fit on the 3pt hitch or what??????
We need a lot more info, than you have offered so far to answer your question. Pics would help a lot, BUT since you are a new poster, you need to scroll down to "Site Comments" and ask permission from the site administrators, Chris or Kim, to allow you to post pics.
Post back with more info.

I think what he was asking was can his tractors 3pt be made to put down presure on the 3pt hitch. My question would be why all blades for snow plowing that i know of don't use down presure they float.

Not arguing here, but I took it that his hookup was a bit high and when he pushed into the snow the arms would be pushed up and had to be ancored in the down position somehow. Don't know. Not enough info.

Yes, I am trying to use the arms as the pivot/anchor point but due to their height at the lowest point they are still too high and pushing into the snow causes the arms to lift. Since they are hydraulicly operated, Can they be locked down so they won't push up?

My other tractor won't, but this is so much more user friendly I was hoping it could.
