SC battery tray ideas?

I wondered what you other guys had done with your "SC" battery compartments, mine is missing the hold downs the tray, and my other "SC"s are also. Tarp straps work yes, but one of my "SC"s is pretty nice and I want it as close to OEM as I can.
You don't see the trays around.

Dan,
I would just make one, BUT I can. the base plate is just 1/8" flat stock with some bends and holes. The bat cover/holdown would be my only issue, and I don't recall what it looked like.
This is a pic of my 1952 SC. Bottom plate will work for me on mine.
I checked my arcives and could not find one pic of the bat. nesteled in place and retained on a new SC.
Any one have a pic of a new SC bat. holdown.

I used 2 pieces of all-thread rod. I bent the bottom ends 90 degrees and put wing nuts on top. I hook the rods through the holes in the bottom plate. I ran a flat piece of 3/4-inch wide plate steel across the battery (ground side) and drilled a hole in each end to accept the rods. It's pretty easy to remove the battery. Just have to make sure the plate is on the ground side of the battery or you will short the battery out.

You might try looking in a home improvement store near the hardware section there might be a rack of steel and aluminum bars, flats, angles and other stuff. Pick some flat stock similar to the original and you can bend it in a vise. To attach the hold down tabs to the sides, drill holes through the outside frame of the holder and then weld the tabs through the holes from the inside finish off with your 4 inch grinder and it could pass for stock.

i think i habe a bunch of universal hold downs, need dimensions amd top hole slides on mine only bigg difference,,,lots of old parts, disabled now and dad passed so i guess have to sell everything
