dc case mag help

I have a 1949 case dc with a bad coil in the mag. I have had no luck finding a coil. This is the mag with a eagle on the side and no top cover for the coil. The coil has 2 wires and the spring in the center. If someone can tell me where to get a coil or a reasonable priced working mag for it. Trying to get it finished for a show in a few days
 
Some of the magneto repair places that advertise on the Internet can rewind coils, but it might be cheaper to buy another magneto. John Saeli sells magnetos (external_link.com).
 
With a little work and fabricating. You can make a Fairbanks mag
coil fit a model 41. I've done it three times.

You can get your old coil rebuilt. It costs about $300.00.
 
used to be a guy in chambersburg mo , that rebuilt mine 20 yrs ago , I have a DC CASE hot mag that was retrofitted to run a airplane engine , got it at auction at the case expo ,. and I have a couple more on the shelf , if you have trouble finding a rebuild guy holler back ,..
