Been farming on my own for 48 years now and 3 things haven't changed, Case, Dodge and Oldsmobile. Can't really afford anything new but we get along just fine with the older stuff. My son and I also have about 30+ Dodge pickups from 39-04. I have a 92 3/4 ton and a 91 1ton Cummins, he has a 93 1 ton Cummins also plus all the gas pickups we both have. Olds' are a 71 Cutlass and a 93 Olds 98. Cutlass has 125000 on it and the 98 has 200000+.

Nice pictures , I like all of those combines , and we had a Olds 88 , car was a dream to drive. And the GM grain truck is a beauty , Thought there might have been a Dodge grain truck in the pictures , judging by the head line .

Hey Bruce, maybe I should have said Fargo truck for those north of the border. The Dodge D-500 is 41 years old and has 40000 miles on it. No GM trucks here.

Ok ya got me ... guess I should of looked a bit closer at that grain truck. Not a whole lot of grill showing , and on the side view , I thought it was a old C60. I stand corrected. Seems to me ,that the heavy trucks of the 60's and early 70's said Dodge and not Fargo. Really only recall Fargo being on pick-up trucks. Nice group of pictures of well cared for equipment.

Very nice looking lineup.
My grandpa always had Oldsmobiles except for his last car before he passed away was a 1980 something Caprice Classic with a gutless 5.7 diesel. He loved anything diesel and was very proud of that car and to be fair, it was a sweet ride.
It was also may have saved lives. He was coming home from town one day with Grandma and two neighbor ladies in the back seat when he was stopped on the highway for road construction. He was rear ended by a farm truck that smashed the trunk nearly to the back seat and back window. They said any smaller of a car and the truck would have gone right through them. The guy had just purchased the truck from a farm auction and was bringing it home and didn't realize it didn't have any brakes. They were sore from whiplash injuries but all recovered. Insurance rebuilt the car and he drove it a number of years.

Great pictures of your collection. It's especially good to see Case combines still working. Thanks for posting. Don

Love Caee tractors and equipment but wouldn't own a truck if Dodge was the only choice. A Chrysler product will never again be in my garage. Owned two of them. The fitst one, shame on Chrysler, the second one, shame on me. It's also a shame Cummins allows their engines to be wasted on Dodge trucks.

I've had great luck with Chevy and Dodge trucks myself,
Especially the older models.

My newest truck is a 99 Ram 3500 CTD.
The oldest is a 47 Dodge WDX.

Don't care for the newer stuff.
