Early 470 revisited

Serial number for the 470 in question is 6855102.
Serial number range for 1970 is 6850001 - 6873000.
Of the total 1970 units, 416 were 470s.
Still doesn't answers any questions on the generator and tin work, but does confirm it's a 1970 model.
How early is hard to know without comparing with a near serial number with a known build date.

Correction: I'm dyslexic in my numbers. They should all be 86xxxxx not 68xxxxx.

Correction: My first two numbers are inverted on the serial numbers.
Serial numbers all start with 86 instead of 68. Sorry.

Well I got confirmation from another Case guy. I couldn't post because of the web site being down.
He has a 470 with a later serial number than this one. It's also a 1970 with a generator and knows of others.
So I guess its a legit 470 and not all that uncommon to still have a gen and smooth side tin.
Thanks to all who commented on the earlier post down the page a ways.
