the last photo i vision it as his change from mules or maybe a vc case.anybody else like those photos most manufacturers put in the owners manuals?

I picked up a set of those front wheel weights on an auction Saturday. They bolt on with the 5/16" J hooks that came with the weights. My question is what do they hook to on the wheel? I do not have the tin VAC wheels to look at.

I like the buyer guild for the 430 that shows it being off loaded from a rollback. The 430 has a norrow frount with a plow on the back. In the back
ground there is a farmer and his wife watching. Back in the late 60s my grandfather bought a new JD , I remeber lots of people there to see it
when it arrived.

They should pass through the slots where the centers meet the rim..
Yes that 430 photo sounds nice

The hooks clamp onto the back of the stamped 6 bolt rims. I actually don't have a picture of the ones that I made. I will try to get a picture tomorrow.

Your weights are different than mine. Mine are like the ones on the VAC above. The notches for the valve stem are in a different place in relationship to the 4 J hook bolt holes. Does that mean the VAC weights are different than the 300 weights?

The mounting holes match the holes that are tapped in the heavy steering wheels for the SP combines that are the same as the DC. The notch for the valve stem is in the wrong place though.
