Seeing the post below with your sticker from Reading, mn I was wondering if you ever serviced my grandpas 1370. His name was Don Miranowski from Dundee, mn. The tractor got sold on his farm auction back in 2002. I think it went to Slayton but I'm not real sure. I would like to find out where it went. Thanks
 
Hi Travis, I knew Don very well. He kept his tractors cleaner than anyone else that I knew. His 1370 and 2290 were in near perfect shape. The 2290 is now owned by a neighbor of ours to the north, it was sold at Don's auction to a fellow by Ellsworth MN. The 1370 was purchased by another neighbor who used it for a number of years and then sold it to the Wilmont MN Elevator. Wilmont merged with New Vision and the tractor is still being used at one of their locations. I have serviced it several times. They do not keep it clean like Grandpa Don. I miss visiting with him, we got along very well, Rod.
 
Thanks fir the fast reply! I spent a lot of time in the cab of that 1370 when I was growing up! A lot of great memories, I always remember the smell, hydraulic oil, diesel exhaust and Copenhagen. My grandpa was very meticulous with his equipment. He definitely passed it on to me!! I have his H farmall and always had a soft spot for that 1370. Might have to talk to somebody at new vision and try to get her back!! We have never met but I remember him talking about a very good mechanic in reading where he took most of his major repairs. Seeing that sticker it kind of dawned on me!! I grew up in heron lake and currently live in new Prague mn. When I'm down that way and have a little free time I will look you up. Again thanks
 
WOW!!! That's a great story. We're only missing the "happy" ending when Grandpas 1370 comes back home. GO get it Travis. This may be your only chance. gobble
