Crawling on the floor and under the 450 is not my idea of fun anymore. All the track rollers will get replaced. Nothing has come apart the way it should. This has taken me a day just to remove the 5 RH side rollers. The torch has been my best tool for this job. Also wanted to show when taking apart these hyd cly's I find it is easier to to do so when they are bolted to a heavy non moveable object like a crawler, LOL. Rod.

Wow, it is sort of tight in the cab. I think it would be great if you can get that all fixed up and use it again. Can not be many being used in the country anymore. I have not found rollers as of yet. Rod.

I see you have a formidable arsenal to bring her to parade rest Rod. Reminds me of a Clinker grinder we tore into last month. Short of using dynamite, we were able to remove her from her roost for a complete change out..Best of luck

No, not fun work for sure, glad you can walk away from it, when things get a little "thick"! Yea, the "1370" or the "1470" listen to them purr and talk to you! How about those cooler days of early October and a cool dry evening.

I am an old construction mechanic and the worst job was doing undercarriage especially if they never used never seize. Your torch is your best friend and you still pray that do not twist off. When you reassembly use copper based never seize that is what even Cat recommends. For track rollers have you tried Thill track and tractor in Eau Claire, WI. I have found them to be very helpful and usually fair price.

I did twist off 4 of the bolts holding the rollers up in place. This did not have any anti-seize on but you can bet they will have! Rod.
