I take it the old tractors didn't run? I would like to think my SC is worth more than that.

Years a go I went to an auction that was just down the road from me about six miles. On the sale was a 48 LA. I didn't even know the guy had it.I thought it was a really nice clean tractor. It was painted sunset/orange. Day of auction the auctioneer stated the LA was stuck. It sold for $250.00. The next day the new owner drove it past my house. he lived on the other end of town. It sounded really good and was not smoking. The guy parked it in his yard never moving it again till he died. It was sold for scrap.I would have bought it but didn't find out in time.

So, what followed you home?? Would have gone but was in Rapid City and Pat had prior plans. Have to talk....using a 12# sledge and no give. Do you have a runner for a transplant??

The tractors didn't run but could ??? Ran when parked ???
They hadn't been run for a time and had old gas in them etc.
In defense of the prices, everything went dirt cheap whether it was home or farm stuff.
It was just one of those kind of sales.

I was coming home with an empty trailer so I hauled two dump rakes for a neighbor who was there buying antiques and antique machinery. I don't have a running transplant. Shouldn't be to hard to find one.??? We can talk.

Straw boss where you from Roslyn ain't that far from me wish I would a known that sc and LA would be at my place.
