DC drawbar dimension

Thanks to the helpful info given to me on this site, I've come to the realization that I need to fabricate a drawbar extension for my dc. In order to
hook my pull type mower to it and have a overrunning clutch and maintain proper geometry I will need to extend it roughly 3.75". Can any of
you please tell me how wide and thick a dc drawbar is, and what diameter the pin hole is (I believe this is 1") Lastly, how far from the end of the
drawbar is the hole located. I would go out and measure, but the tractor is 3 hrs away, and I would like to be able to hook it up when I get to it.
My plan is to basically weld up a sleeve to go over the existing drawbar and bolt through the pin hole. Obviously this sleeve would have and
extension built into it. Thanks for the help!

P.S do you guys think that 3/4" flat stock would be strong enough for the drawbar extension? I have some readily available that's why I ask,
and this will only be used with that mower....

Mike, are you saying the PTO shaft is to long,is it bottoming out? If so you can cut it some

The manufacturer states that the distance from drawbar hole to end of pto shaft should be 14". When I install the overrunning coupler / clutch on the end of the shaft, it will shorten this dimension by ~3.75". I thought I could just extend the hitch on the mower, but to maintain equal angle between the intermediate shaft on my mower (it has a 2 piece driveline with 3 universal joints) and pto end joints, the hitch point needs to be inline with the center of this shaft.

I did find this article on ASAE standards for drawbars, is it safe to assume that the DC will meet theses standards? If so, I can use this info to build my extension.
