Big 600 Starter Solenoid

I'm trying to revamp the wiring on my 610 LP. It has an Autolite model ML 4356 starter. Can anyone recommend what to use for a starter solenoid that's correct? I have one on it but its nowhere near right. I'd like to try to keep this one authentic as I have a show coming up soon and don't want to switch to a different starter if I can help it. It works fine as is but I just wanted to know what to do to fix it right. Thanks, BT.

Probably can't get the original. I have went to NAPA and got one for a 800 and retrofit it. Also the accessory solenoid for a 4690 Case could be retrofit and would be heavy enough as it is 30 amp continuous. But none of these are original.

Hey Bill. I talked to my local Alt/Starter repair shop. They said what the book calls out for that starter would be a Delco 3 Wire Solenoid, Model 1114532. That would be the same as the older Ford cars and light trucks. They don't know if it would have been what was originally on it for certain, as their info doesn't tell them. But the info does tell them this is what to use. Good luck - Bob

Thanks to both of you. I have found one that I'm going to install on the firewall to make it less obvious. BT
