how hard are sleeve and piston kits for a late SC to come buy? maybe getting one with a siezed engine.

Parts are pricey for the SC The late models sleeves may be a problem they have 2 O-rings on the sleeve instead of one in the block and are more elusive. John Saeli may have a solution for them. Pistons, rings, rod bearings, Valves, gasket kits all available main bearings are available but mains are exchange only. Engine Parts are easy to find for the early model blocks like mine. but there proud of em. I have a 52. I know the later models 53-54 sleeve is different it has 2 O-ring on the sleeve early model has one O-ring in the block that may be an issue . Someone else will probably have to chime in to help you on the late models.

Everything except the sleeve is available. At this point, get it home & see what she needs, take it a step at a time. If the sleeves are worn, and not broken, a shop will bore them up & install a "tin can" or dry liner. Good luck.
