Hi I have an older 480CK. The injection pump went out last year and was rebuilt. It then started and ran excellent. Now, it is impossible to start even in 90 deg. temperatures. When the starter turns over it turns the engine quickly and fine, but it will not even put out any blue or gray or black smoke when being cranked. It acts as if it is not getting any fuel while being cranked over to start. Fuel flows through the filters and if I crack open a line to the injectors I get fuel flowing. However, if I give it a shot of either, it will kick over and start quickly. When it runs, it runs perfectly with no smoke, lots of power, no missing and no blue or black smoke. Any suggestions of where to look to try to fix this?
Thanks.
