I didn't give it much thought when I took this picture a few years ago, but thought you might like to see it

Hello Dan,

Always does the heart good to see a bunch of Case tractors and machinery. How is your 1030 doing? Don

Hi Don,

The "1030" is just waiting for some dry weather, it rains here every day, crop is going backwards big time now, banker told me they are going to close down some guys this fall. There trying to cultivate potatoes and water in the rows,, stuck yesterday I saw 2 tractors stuck, one trying to pull the other out. I do admire how hard they are trying to save this crop.

I have the "1030" on the back burner Don, as its hook to the cultivator,, but I have been "pouring" money into my "930" after my outing of it, told the other guys here I was tired of letting it sit inside in the back sooo got new batteries in her, and cables as they guy I bought it from had cut the cables to mount them by the starter, and not a good system,, so now its back to OEM.

Don, how is your "1030" project?

Rod, there is the "900B" "VA" and the "330" baler

Rod, I have forgot about the manuals, there are in the pickup! LOL

Well Dan, it's what they call a work-in-progress LOL We re-did the heads w/ new valves and seats and got new injectors. It runs great, but still did not like to start under 50 degrees. We then hooked up the manifold heater and that, along with 2 giant 12 volt batteries, gets us down to about 32 degrees reliably. This spring we replaced the hydraulic control valve assembly with one from a salvage yard and as long as the fuel tank was off, got it sandblasted. It came back looking great-just full of pinholes. So, another trip to the salvage yard. It's now all back together and a useful farm tractor again. Can hardly wait for corn chopping season, although summer is going too fast as it is. My Dad always said time slips by faster as you get older. I believe he was right again. Don

Going to sell the "SC" I have to many of them, and just bought another! HAHA
