Hi folks- I'm new to owning a diesel case 530 ck and have a question.. I have drained differential and filled with 90 weight..trans (2-plugs on bottom) and torque converter (2- 3/16 allen head plugs in housing)I cannot find on any of the service manual where to fill torque converter area with the case hy-tran fluid. I read on a different forum that I can go through the breather tube on the left side of the tractor below the battery cover. I have done this and added 12 quarts since I have a torque converter and the manual calls for it. Since adding throught the breather I cannot find a level anywhere on the dipstick. I figured I'd add another 4 quarts (total of 16 now) to see if I can find a level and still nothing.
1-Am I filling at a good spot?
2-Do I have the correct amount of case Hy-tan knowing that I fully drain the torque converter?
3-Why do I not have a reading assuming I'm adding the right amount..lol
Thx in advance..I'm baffled

So....like a complete DUM***S I was pouring my 5 gal pale of hy-tran in a 1 gall bucket I put marks on at 2 quarts/4quarts....In my confusion of adding oil frustrated I did'nt know where the correct fill plug was I thought I marked 4/8 quarts..I now added correct amount of hy-tran and it reads fine..haHAHA.. If it was not for the stopping to go for beer I'm not sure I'd of realized what I did... Gotta love beer.
Still would like to know if the 1'' plug in pic is the correct fill though
