800 case is there such a thing as an easy drop on the lift alarms on this tractor

On the lower left hand side of the hyd control there is a speed regulator valve. the hose from this valve runs to bottom of the 3 point lift cylinder. To slow the drop loosen the jam nut on the valve and turn the screw on the end of the valve in, the owners manual says 1/4 turn at a time to increase the drop speed turn the screw out. There is supposed to be a limit stop to prevent the screw from backing out all the way.
