2670 engine in 930

Going to put a 2670 engine in my 930 for pulling, I've been
doing some measuring and knew this before but I have to do
some cutting to the front casting to get the front pulley and
dampener to clear, and might have to drill new holes for wide
front axle support and modify bracket. Do any of you guys
know or have done this, used a dampener from another 504,
451 or 401? It will only be used for pulling, is there a diffrence
between small and large journal pulleys and dampeners?
Thanks
Ben

I think the pulley damper is bigger out of a 2670 large journal crank.
The large journal cranks out of a 1570 2590 ect. has a smaller pulley.
You will have to cut a hole for the steering shaft in he block unless you make it hydrostat steering.

Ok thanks, I've already cut the hole in the block with just a bi metal hole saw. It worked great
Thanks

That is a nice looking tractor, what engine did you use, I thought my 1570 would have a smaller diameter dampener but it is the same size, just a little thinner, you must still have had to do some cutting on the front casting though right? Thanks for the pic. If you could reply back with your phone number I would like to talk to you. Thanks
