It is not made to be removed with the cab on the tractor. Now I am not saying it can't be done, but by trying to do you will completely screw up the hood and panel fit. Plus messes up the hood and firewall seals. To redo all that correctly you give up any time savings by having it removed. I have tried removing two of them and cussed myself for ever attempting. To refit and adjust and reseal everthing correctly takes a lot of time. I have worked on what could be hundreds of those tractors and have vowed never to try to remove one again with the cab on. I see what you mean. We did get it done wasn't pretty. Loosened the cab, jacked it up, pulled air cleaner tub and got it changed. Now onto paint. 1st one I had that had the left hand aux. hyd's.

Fred, If you had a damaged one that needed replacement you had no choose but to fight with it. I would have mentioned raising the cab a bit had I knew what the goal was, but as you now know that is not fun either, Rod.
