Proper Insturment color for a Case 300B

I have a 300B diesel, and the instrument panel has been replaced with 3 SW gauges, basic three.
What was the original color and which make was used. Was it the brown Auto lite. or the black Stewart Warner. I have a black Auto lite and wondering if it was the brown or black color used. What tractors did Case use the Black faced Auto lite gauge cluster. On the one that I have, the tach turns clock wise, Top to bottom, It says that it will fit several depending on the PTO speed. 530 730 830 630 630C and 530C. My 630 COM has a black Stewart Warner in it.
Any Thoughts

If I rember rite, about all of these style dash s were brown. I can not say that I ever seen a black dash, but that does not say there were not some black ones. I hope others will help this guy out with more input. clint

I think all the cluster gauge boards prior to 1960 were brown, right to left sweep tachometers, the only difference in the panel and gauges is 75 psi oil gauge (G45026)for diesel and 30 psi (G45025) for gas.

Go to the link and check the part numbers, there are some parts that are not the same gas verus diesel i.e. oil gauge line, but the cluster is the same except as noted.

I have parts of a black SW diesel cluster off a 530 that is the same as your pic.

The 300 series and 000B series with clusters all brown Stewart Warner clusters. Case chose to switch to Autolite clusters with a black face for the 30 series, but went back to Stewart Warner in 1962. When they returned to SW, the faces were black.
