Can you tell me a little about the trailer you have the 425 loaded on.Really interested how much weight can cross over the fender plate.

Actually....I had to look twice before I realized that's not my trailer.
I don't remember the circumstances but I ended up using a neighbors trailer that day.
It's a low profile design so the frame is flush with the bed.
It's a real nice feature. Keeps the center of gravity lower and it's much easier to reach across
to chain things down and easier to climb up on the trailer when it isn't so high.
Those fender plates are solid. No give whatsoever.
I think you could drive anything over them with no worries.

My trailer is built much the same way. I have no concern about parking a tractor directly on the plates during transport.

Thanks Brad, for your response. I currently run the Texas Bragg 18'classic car carrier with non removable fenders 92".Although I am not fond of the ramps, ie the weight and lifting on the Delta trailer, I find her to be a versatile rig. Your right Steve, that load is awesome.

The neighbors trailer in the first pic is a nice rig also but the ramps were back killers for me even though they were spring assisted. My trailer has the hydraulic dovetail ramp which is a Godsend. Considering what I've spent in the past for doctor bills and physical therapy for my back, the cost for the HD ramp is justifiable. I also electrified the jack so no more cranking every time I hook or unhook. Just stand there and hold a button. Especially nice if you want to unhook with a heavy load still on the trailer. Add the electric winch along with the hydraulic tail and I can load most anything myself on my own schedule without having to make arrangements for a loader tractor. The baler and chisel plow are two examples. Either one would have been a nightmare to load by myself without the HD ramp and winch. It only took me 30 years to get the trailer of my dreams but now that I have it I wonder why I didn't do it years ago. Life is so much easier now.

Thanks Steve. I'm hoping to get both of them to Andover in Sept if anyone wants to look them over.
I'm sure I'll see you there but for those of you who don't know about the show, just google the James Valley Threshing Show and check out their website. They are hosting the J.I.Case Heritage Foundation Expo this year. I plan to bring multiple loads this year to help represent the Case brand and make Old Abe proud.
