I do not know a lot about Case. I own Ford and Allis Chalmers, but hope you Case guys can help. Older friend (84) has this 5230 he has owned for a number of years and has never had any trouble with it till now. He says when you pull a 15 ft. pasture mower with it for 5 to 6 hours, tractor will suddenly just stop moving. I don't know what you call the trans he has. Two gearshift handles to right of seat, closest to seat has I II III IV on knob, other shifter has 1 2 3 4. This is not considered to be a power shift, is it? Is he looking at problems in the trans or the clutch or somewhere else? Think he said tractor is 93' model if that makes a difference. Any thoughts or answers would be appreciated. I am in East Texas and weather is very warm (mid to upper 90's) and he said problem just recently started. Thanks for all replies. By the way, he said when it cools down, tractor will move normal again.
