Hey Bro, Thanks for the pics. We sold some 140's in twine and wire tie. a couple had the Air cooled Case engins on them. Olny sold one with a pto drive. I don't remember any of them with desert sunset trim on them.
Dad sold tons of 200s-330s. I was about 17yrs then and he taught me everything there was to know about those balers and launchers. Almost missed my HS graduation because of a very pesky 330 knotter problem.

Great pictures Tom as always. Was the 140 a earlier model than the 220,330 balers? Does the 140 make heavier bales?

Someone can correct me on this or add information but I think the tanks were made in a different location and prepped for paint differently (substandardly) compared to the rest of the tins. Most 30 series fuel tanks look this way. Kind of a shame, especially if the rest of the tractor has good original paint.

That sounds reasonable. My 830 came from the original owner, and when I bought it I asked if he'd replaced the tank, because of the big difference in paint, the rest of the tractor being quite nice. He did not replace the tank

Cool pictures Tom! Wish my 140 twine tie was operable. Plunger is stuck in the chamber and haven't taken time to get it going. Would like to see one bale as they have a separate plunger and slicer in the chamber. Was supposed to pull easier and do a better job with the double system. Guess I'll have to get it on my bucket list.

Great pics Tom,If you did not have so much baling to do you could have picked chickens. Maybe next year, LOL. Rod.

Jerry the 140 was before the 200 series balers, yes, production ended in 1962 the year of this 140W which means wire tie, and yes it makes a bigger bale and is a higher capacity baler than the 200/330 models
