Case 1070 motor

My 1070 seems to have blown up on me a few weeks ago. It filled the crank case with coolant. I have not had time to tear into it to find the problem and see what all it needs but I just saw a case 2090 with a bad transmission advertised and I was wondering if the 2090 motor could be put in the 1070? Thought that'd be cheaper than an overhaul if it would work. Has anyone ever done this?

the 504 will bolt right in the 1070 and is basically the same power the way they were set

Dumb question: if the 2090 has a better cab, would the 1070 rear half bolt up to 2090 front half and cab?
