Sure would. I bet the front end on a VAC would get light though. Consider it "Power Steering" and the high speed reverse gear in the VACs would be no fun trying to move manure.

myself I do not mind the rev speed on the VA series,, my uncles 8N now, they are the same as 3rd gear way to fast lol

8n's are super fast in reverse. that's one thing I like about my 9n.
