Rod: How much time did CASE allow in the Flat Rate Manuals for the R&R of a Throttle Cable on an 1175, without Cab? What a Witch of a job!! Changed one yesterday, and I'm sure I did not make Flat Rate.

I changed the one on my 870 2 weeks ago. Took about 30 minutes. Now if there had been a cab on there it would have been no fun at all!

John having changed a few I really don,t remember the actual time required. All have had cabs on and it really depends on the tractor, some cabs would be a mess and rusting bolts along with monitors and loader valves in the way. What I do remember is that I never enjoyed changing any of them, LOL. Rod.

my 1070 I did last year took me 4 hrs of WORK to change out,, Really helps to have a set of crows feet sockets to get at the housing nuts,,, Not a fun job and yes mine all have cabs
cnt

I let my neighbor mechanic replace mine on the 1170. I figured by the time I got upside down on my head in the cab they'd would have to call fire and rescue to get me back out!
