Case 580c Backhoe valve issue

In a possible costly learning curve during replacing the o-rings, I chipped the flange on the dipper spool valve body between the o-ring and wiper seal.

This is the first time I have ever serviced the hydraulic valves, so I am hoping I can reverse my damage, or better yet.... hope it didn't ruin it.

Is this certain failure? Can it be fixed? With the new o-ring and wiper seal, is it still useable? Not sure if this has ever happened to anyone before.... I have not been able to find any info on it so far.

Thanks for any help

sorry but I do not see that holding the o-ring enough to make a seal, unless you can have someone repair that surface you need a replacement valve

Nutty, thank you for the connection. They had what I need - called them today and they already shipped it out.

I went to 2 machine shops, and they were not optimistic on repairing my damaged valve, and the repair cost would be more than I would want to spend.

Thanks
