Big 600 lp Distributor Question

I have a big 600 lp that has had a Delco distributor installed. I am needing the dist cap and parts but someone has painted over the tag so I can't read what model it is. The parts book and service manual only show a magneto. Would anyone know what the Delco number is or the part numbers for the tuneup parts?

Also the correct plug it should take. One book says D9 Champion and another says D15Y. Thanks a lot for any help you can give. Bob

Geez Bob, I went out to get the numbers off my 930 LP thinking it would help. Suprise, no tag and no stamped numbers....nothing. But I have got all parts from my parts house, Hedahls, by application. Sorry I couldn't help.

Looking at the parts books for the 900's and 930's it only shows Autolite and Wyco distributors, but no Delco's. I'm hoping someone might have one to either get the Delco number maybe they would have written down the part numbers. Bob

Take the old cap, points, rotor to a good auto parts place. Start looking at mid 50's GM and compare
I'd start with 57 Chevy 6 cylinder

I'm going to bet the points and condenser are the same as a JD 630.
The cap might be the same one used on Chevy Viking trucks made in the 50's.

Only Delco thing I found for 6cyl CASE.
Don't pay any attention to that 2banger picture.

Well that sucs can't read it! Don't know if these are right or not but a place to start.
1111412 dist # and for complete replacement 1885619
d111 points
d203 condenser
d415 rotor
d301 cap

You are right Klyde. After scraping and cleaning tonight I came up with 1111412. Hopefully this and your numbers will get me going. Many thanks - Bob

Just an FYI for anyone who might be in the same boat. Klyde had the correct answer and CARQUEST had all the parts in stock. Thanks for all the replies. Bob
