Case 811 b

Looked at a case 811B today with a case o matic transmission. Don't know much about case tractors. The look of the tractor caught my eye. Are they a good tractor are they known for any problems or what to look for

Dan, if that 800 has been maintained and cared for it should outlast both of us. I don't know of a tougher tractor ever built. You mentioned you aren't familiar with Case so I assume you aren't familiar with COM. It's different from Farmall's and MM's torque amplifier. With the COM you always start moving on the torque convertor and shift to direct drive when you get up to speed. If it won't pull the load in direct drive, shift down a gear, do not run on the torque convertor too long, it will overheat. Hope it works out for you. Harry
