Looking for some advise from you guys that have done some of these things before. I am working on restoring a 430, and it is leaking oil from the right side axle housing where it meets the diff. Looks like there is a gasket there that meeds replaced.
What I dont know is how all this comes apart. Looks like there are several bolts holding the axle housing to the diff. I expect that I will have to get into the diff to get the axle loose. Do you need to go through the PTO housing to get to this, or is it easier to go through the top? Wondering what other parts to replace while I am in there. This doesnt look like a very fun job.......
