Case Wheel Colour

I'm working on a 1939 Case L with the solid cast iron front wheel hubs and pressed steel wheel rears. The tractor itself is
gray, but if memory serves me correctly, the wheels are not gray or flambeau red, but a dark red.
What colour should they be?

You are correct. It is a dark red.
