Friction Disc Case #A61069

Sheets of friction material are readily available at any brake specialty shop. I bought a sq ft years ago and use a hole saw to cut the appropriate size. Works on everything here from my JD skidsteer, the ol SCs, both my 400s..... etc. I've tried leather, doesn't' work well. This material is available in all thickness's and materials for ton's of different applications

Original friction disc on the number series tractors was cork. I cut a couple out of textured, cloth inserted sheet rubber that I bought from a marine supply store. Works just as well as cork and is a lot more durable.

I think one on a Farmall H we had was leather, a little oil occasionally helped keep it tight as it would swell a little.
The other H we had was a sawtooth type.
