CASE INTERNATIONAL 2294
Had this tractor for a few months
Out of the blue the clutch release fast at a inch or so from floor, with no play or slippage...
BUT only in foward gears
In reverse clutch releases fine, can slowly release pedal and have a smooth engagement
This is my first case
Coming from all green for last 40 years
Any help would be appreciated
 
limited info,does it also stop abruptly when you push clutch in?when you go will it shift through the power shift as normal?
 
Does it feel like it kinda hammers when you are starting to let out the clutch? I have a 2394 that has done that a Couple of times. I found that the mercury switch under the dash for the inching pedal was acting up. I flipped the flipper on the one that releases when you are letting the clutch out might have been sticking because it hasn't done it since. You may have a bad mercury switch under there pretty cheap to replace and easy to take out & replace.
