Case 970 Hydraulics

I have a Case 970 that we are having a hydraulic problem with.It won't take off in PS1 & PS2 and the lift arms don't work. If you take off in PS3 you can then go into PS1 or PS2 but the lift arms still don't work unless you push the clutch in. The lift arms do work in PS3. Where should we look for the problem? I have owned this tractor for about three years and problem just started a few days ago when we went form the mower to the hay rake. We have already tried changing the oil and filters, didn't make any difference. Thanks for any help. Tom

From what you described as symtems my thoughts are the bolts holding C2 and C3 clutch packs together are loose or broken. That would explain the loss of hyd pressure and no drive in PS1 and PS2. That is the way they usually operate when the problem occurs. Repair means splitting tractor and removing and repairing the powershift. Rod.
