Got my decals came today and I am looking for verification on there proper size. They are the vinyl decals from Maple Hunter. The word CASE is 6 7/8 long by 1/3/8 tall. the 400 is 3/1/4x 1/1/2. Any help would be appreciated . Chuck

Chuck I've a couple of untouched 400s. Both the "Case" measured 7 1/2 x 1 1/2. The 400s 3 1/2 x 1 1/2. One is a '55 the other a '56. The Case decals are in the same place on both, the 400 however are in different places and my 400 sales lit supports that. The '55 is on the radiator shroud piece, vertical piece after the grill, shielding the fan, if that makes any sense. The later 400 is underneath the rib on the Hood, under the Case signage. It's raining cats and dogs and the shed is dark so I can't take a decent pic, but if it makes no sense let me know.

You answered part of my inquiry. When I sandblasted the side panels I saw the remnants of the 400 decal. That part I am confident is correct. I am sure plus or minus an 1/8 of an inch in size that I have the correct letter size, as my 411 is a 55 model. I can sleep tonite. If you could give me the distance the letter E in Case is from the hood to cowl /or side Panel ,I would be eternally greatful for the next 3 days. Cheers

Hi chuck. Your request as follows: Early CASE measures 8 5/8th to the end of the E. The later CASE measures 10 1/2 to the end of
the E.

I just noticed, when looking at the pics side by side at the different lettering styles in the "400"s. I've half a dozen pieces of
sales lit, with pics, that support the 2 styles..........A true conundrum for the originality judges. I happen to be one of those
guys that likes to see restored items, as original.

This is why most of us take time to read these post's on here is to learn what is out there in the CASE world not to holler correct or other wise.

Hi Everyone,

I snapped some pics of my 411 before I sand blasted a few weeks back. I know these measurements are rough - but hope they help. I just snapped these pics for reference when I put on new decals.
