I am fairly to painting Cases---I see Loren and Don talking about power red. What is the difference if any between power red and flambue red. Spelling on flambue??? Thanks Tee

That question usually starts an argument on here. Flambeau Red is the correct color for all "Case orange" tractors from the early forties through the 30 series tractors but isn't as readily available today as Power Red because you can't get it from your Case dealer anymore since CaseIH company is color blind and says Power Red is close enough so we won't stock two colors. Power Red didn't come out until sometime during the 70 series. So now its more about personal preference with many guys. Flambeau Red to me is a brighter, more vibrant flame red color vs Power Red which is more dull and orange looking and usually looks really poor after it starts to fade. But to each their own. John Salie sells Flambeau in various size containers plus rattle cans.

Power Red came with the introduction of the 70 series,, even the 1969 produced 70 series had Power Red,, Flambeau ended with the 30 series, all 70 production items had Power Red
