Got it home yesterday morning. Mowed and acre or so and smoothed out out a couple of potholes in my drive. I don't know if these pictures show what you are looking for. Let me know.

Good evening. By the looks of the sheet metal, she looks pretty straight. That ding in the left top corner on the cowl is easily pushed out and glazed. My first sheet metal job took some time{sandblast ospho, sandblast, then glazing putty, primer _six coats, 3 flashes of high build primer, sanding with200 grit,3 more coats primer, and then sand with 400 grit paper, then paint. What are your plans for her? Work her as she is, or fancy her up? It appears you have stopped a few critical seal leaks. Nice looking 411

I, for sure, do not have the skill, let alone patience, to do what you do. I will try and take care of the tractor and see if I can get some work done with it. I would like to see if I can find about a 10 ft mower for it, but, for all I know that might be too much for that tractor. Nice pics of your tractor.

Just so that you aware, this is my first time painting. HEE! I got her back in 2012,so as you can see. I have not moved that quickly with the restoration. I did what you have started to do first. Stopping the leaks and making her field worthy. She is a work in progress . Keep us apprised of your progress!

That is interesting. I certainly admire someone that is able to do something like that and to stick with it for so long. Actually, I think there are more leaks to fix on that tractor. I hope, as I find the leaks, they will be such that I can do the work myself, but, I am not optimistic in that regard. I am praying that it doesn't leak to bad, I notice a few, seeps, on it, but, I can live with that if it is still able to do what I need it to do. There seems to be a whole lot of places for these old tractors to leak oil and I have seldom seen one that doesn't look like it has been leaking somewhere.

to be cleaned. If I have not already made mention, you have 4 breather caps on your 411. 2 valve cover ,1 transmission ,and one hydraulic cap. They have to be cleaned with diesel fuel. An easy job ,even for me! Missed your name. Chuck
