51 VAC- what oil is in Torque tube

My VAC has the pump up front running off the timming gears and has the eagle hitch. What oil do you guys run in the torque tube. I think its 10wt but thought I would ask. Thanks, Dick

VAC's aren't real picky about what hydraulic oil you use. I use the universal hydraulic oil from the farm store in 5 gallon buckets. Nick

I also use a general purpose hydraulic oil. Some report using 10w30 motor oil for all purpose temp changes. In any event most any modern low viscosity oil used in hydraulic systems is better than 50's motor oil.
