Henefer 580ck

Hello this is my first post on a tractor forum:) I recently purchased a Case 580ck with the backhoe removed. It is definitely a project but I did manage to get it running pretty well and the hydraulics also seem to work well while in motion but once I let the control valves go to neutral(I'm really only having a problem with the loader up and down valve)the motor will bog and die as if it is still under load. Almost like the valve is not centered correctly for neutral.the motor is the gas g159. As you guys know this machine has the governor setup that can be an issue at times. Mine does seem to work as the rpm's rise while lifting bucket. if anyone could point me in the right direction on my hydraulic issue it would' be much appreciated. Thanks Matt

Probably is the Valve or a releive sticking? Re-post but put "580CK hydraulic problem need help", someone with 580 knowledge should answer and help you. There is a good folks on this site that will help you. Dick

how are the lines hooked up that powered the backhoe,, you may have one deadheading if someone plugged the hose rather than looping it in the system

I saw a picture of one looped last night and thought that may be my problem since mine is plugged rather than full looped. I will connect the 2 ends and hope for the best. Thank you very much

Got the loop hose installed today and....the beast lives and operates great. Thanks for the awesome advice:)
