430 Auxillary Hydralics Question

Got a 430 Case Diesel last winter. It has original Case couplers in good condition, but everything I have is Pioneer. Went to swap out couplings and looked up size, Case IH partstore indicated 3/8 pipe threads on the hose. So I got 2 couplers, and two bushings to reduce to 3/8" pipe threads, just like my 311 RN. When I went to swap out, 1/2" threads and they were not tapered pipe threads. Are they ASME threads? Or will the Pioneer male coupling work with a Case coupler? Thanks for the help.

The thread is JIC ( it does not stand for J I Case). You can get an adapter to change it to 1/2" pipe thread. Pioneer male will NOT couple to Case female.

Our dealership carries the adapter from that fine thread I believe 7/8th to 1/2 female pipe, no oring used, no sealer needed.

This doesn't answer your question but why not leave the Case couplers intact and use a pair of adapters to keep your tractor with original equipment?

The adapters are easily available and easy to use. Some guys make their own if the have a pair of male Case ends and a pair of female Pioneer ISO ends laying around.
