I just found out the fellow that is changing out the transmission fluid in my 411 LP tractor is unsure of what type of oil to use, for that matter he is unsure of the proper quantity, can anyone help us with this matter? I would appreciate it much.

Engine crankcase w/filter 9 quarts above 70* SAE 30, 70*-32* SAE20w, 32*-minus20* SAE10w
Air cleaner 1 and one half pts (matches engine oil)
transmission and differential...15gal SAE 90
From the operators instruction manual gobble

You are a Godsend. I am wondering if they have one common place that fills both at the same time? I think there is a fairly large plug on top of the casing, would that be where you fill both? Any clarification would help to sort of calm my nerves at this point. He didn't ever have the operators manual, he had an old shop service manual he got from somewhere and we both looked it over and it doesn't say what or how much. Again thanks!

The transmission fill plug is the large one near the bracket for the seat. The hydraulic fill plug is on the tee for the breather on the back of the tractor. Both plugs to check the levels are on the right side near the back of the tractor.

Does the transmission fill plug also fill the differential. There are two drain plugs, seemingly one for the diff and one for the trans, is that correct?
What is the capacity of the hydraulic system? Any info is greatly appreciated.

The transmission and differential use the same fill plug.

The hydraulic system holds 10.5 quarts with eagle hitch or 9 without. There is a filter for the hydraulic system on back of the tractor in the lower right corner. It is under the plate with 3 bolts. You can rinse it in diesel fuel and reinstall.
