My grain is hanging in there but the hay is firing a bit,,, last month we should have gotten over 3' of h20, we got less than .250 total, that puts us about 5" behind for the year since Jan,,, I know others who's crops are drowning if they even got them in,,, that's farming,,, anyway a few shots of the crops ere,, Barley is about knee high most places now, my alfalfa/grass hay is not going to make much this year it looks like right now I am guessing a 1/2 ton to the acre or less the way its looking, last pic is a shot of the regular hay

Dry land farming in drought is such fun. We have had four years of it in Calif. This year was much better in the north state. I will start cutting the meadow Monday it will be very heavy this year. Steve

Things area bit too dry here too.Getting a long with first cutting , and it don't take as many wagon loads to haul it in this year as it did last. Could see the hay price shoot up if things stay like this. Your pictures of strip farming sure look pretty.Bruce

Tom I think I found some of the H20 you are missing, it is in my field. Sure wish I knew how to return it to you. Those strips sure are perdy, Rod.

Tom, Hope you get a nice shower of rain soon. We just finished planting here in Northwest Ohio. Was wet and now the water has shout off. I had the cover crop rye about 5 feet high ,keeps the bottom of the tractor clean. Had the 4490 out to stretch her legs, what a great tractor. Building a new shed to put the tools away and bring them home. great pictures . Jerry
