case 446 garden tractor

My lever for the mower deck stopped working in the down position. any ideas .The tractor is case with hydrostatic drive and approx. 25 years old. Still runs great but am unable to raise the deck. Zinny :?:

If the lever does not feel like it is not hooked up to anything check for loose linkage. If it feels normal and is moving the valve spool,then there would be a problem
with the valve or pump, and that is not to common. Rod.
